Trusts & Estates: Everyone should have an estate plan. Philo Law Firm creates an individualized plan for each person (whether single or married), depending on your assets. Using our signature process, your comprehensive fully-executed estate plan will be completed with two meetings with your attorney. Expedited estate plans are available.
If you are appointed as a Trustee for a Trust, we can assist you in the administration of the Trust. Whether you are novice as a trustee, or experienced, we can provide you with the trusted advice you need to fulfill your fiduciary duty.
Philo Law Firm also provides probate services. In the event your loved one passed without a will, or there is a will but title to assets need to transfer, we offer services to assist with the complicated probate process.
Small Businesses: Philo Law Firm, P.C. offers concierge general counsel services to small businesses and start up businesses. As a trusted adviser, we assist the business owner in the various aspects of running a business from the initial start of the business to drafting and reviewing contracts, employment related matters, protecting intellectual property, the eventual sale of the business, and everything in between. Trayce Draagonfly95 days agoI met Kayla Fleming originally when she worked at Tresp Law. I was looking for someone to help me get the estate of my late partner through probate. Kayla made me feel very confident in her knowledge and abilities in our initial consultation, and when I was finally ready to pay the fees and retain her services, I emailed only to find she had left the firm. I was disappointed I couldn't work with her. Several weeks later, it became very apparent to me that to avoid everything I was going through in probate with my partner's estate, I would need someone to set up a trust and write out my will and get my own affairs in order. I searched Kayla's name online, and I was in luck because she was working with Philo Law Firm. Not only was Philo $1000 cheaper than the other firm that was handling the estate, I was very happy to have Kayla building the documents that would outline all the things my partner was missing in his estate. It gave me a lot of confidence to know my daughter will never have to deal with all the issues I've been dealing with concerning probate in California to settle my estate. Kayla was so thorough in setting up my own estate that I have referred her to many friends when they asked who did all my documents. I love that when everything was written and ready, she went over everything with me before printing it all and presenting it in a binder so it is all in one place. Philo also keeps a copy in case anything would happen to the hard copy she gave me. She also came to my house to get everything signed, so I didn't even have to leave the comfort of my home to put all my affairs in order. When we owned our health care business with several hundred employees, she was instrumental in establishing our individual trusts to secure the necessary guarantees our business could continue to operate with little impact if either of us as principals could not carry out our mandatory corporate duties.
